One place I visited where things were very expensive was Tokyo, Japan. Tokyo is a huge city with bright lights, tall buildings, and busy streets. I think things are expensive in Tokyo because it is a big city with high living costs. Many people live there, and the demand for goods and services is very high. Also, Japan imports a lot of things, which makes prices go up. Despite the high prices, I enjoyed my trip because the city was amazing and the people were very kind. But I had to be careful with my spending!
